Engineering lead with a builder's instinct

I'm a full-stack software engineer with 5+ years building cloud-native web applications, now leading engineering delivery for an enterprise SaaS platform. My core strength is the JavaScript/Node.js stack — designing scalable backend services, APIs, and database architecture that hold up in production.

Over the last two years I've folded Gen AI and automation into how I build: integrating GPT-4/4o and OpenAI APIs into production workflows, scripting Airtable + Zapier automations that replace manual ops work, and using AI-assisted tooling (Copilot, ChatGPT) to move faster without cutting corners on quality. That work has shipped inside real products — from an AI-driven appointment booking assistant to Airtable-powered publishing automation for a McClatchy news platform.

I currently lead a team building a rebate and channel management platform for an enterprise client — covering architecture decisions, Playwright-driven test automation, CI/CD, and mentoring engineers on secure, maintainable code.

A note on the timeline: six companies in about six years has a straightforward explanation. Several roles were remote, client-project-based engagements that ran for the life of the project, a couple of the smaller companies I worked with wound down or restructured, and each move widened my scope — from developer to senior engineer to Engineering Lead — and my range across publishing, healthcare, SaaS, and Gen AI automation.
